This section contains the Gender and Development events of CKWD along with the name or theme of the event. 


The City of Koronadal Water District through its Gender and Development programs will joins the tree growing activity on June 29, 2013 for the fulfillment of its environmental responsibility. This activity will be in support for the continued program of the City Government of Koronadal, the “Tree Growing Festival” which highlights the need for the doubling of efforts for the reforestation and rehabilitation of the depleted forest cover. Numbers of fruit and forest trees seedlings was transplanted to different areas of Koronadal City and to be participated by different agencies in Koronadal City. The CKWD officials and employees is assigned to plant at mountain ranges of Barangay San Isidro Upper Sitio Acub.

CKWD unify its members and staffs to take part of "Bike for Health" campaign last February 24, 2013. With the theme, "Recycle to Save Earth, Cycle to Save Yourself", encourages its members to develop their physical aspect and to be aware of the current status quo of the environment. The activity kicked off at six in the morning, trailing the urban streets of Koronadal. The said activity was organized by the Gender and Development focal point. The City of Koronadal Water District as a service institution through its mission is not only tasked as a utility firm but also to uphold and enhance its human resources. One concern is the health of its employees. February is known as Heart Month. Not only because we celebrate St. Valentine’s Day, but because it’s also a reminder to take better care of our heart health, hence the activity “Hearts Day”.
